Do you lay in bed at night, tossing and turning because you are overcome with guilt? You've asked God to forgive you, but you just don't feel forgiven. Well, I'm so thankful that freedom from sin is not based on feeling. The Bible says in 1 John 1:9, “When we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. To keep feeling guilty after asking God for forgiveness is really a lack of trust in Jesus; it's like saying, “God, I don't believe you”. What you need is more faith, ask God to help you trust Him more and He will. You can be assured that Jesus paid the price on Calvary for our sins, and He has the power to forgive. Matthew 21:22 tells us, “Anything we pray believing, we will receive”. When Jesus forgives, we can trust completely and fully that we are forgiven. And the best part? He doesn't keep bringing it up and throwing it in our face. He buries our sins deep in the ocean, and He never goes deep-sea diving. Rejoice, for you are free from that burden; Jesus paid the price. All you need to do is live each day for Him. Claim the promises in Jeremiah 33:3 that says, “Call on me, and I will show you great and mighty things that you know not of”.

Psalm 103:12 KJV - As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Isaiah 1:18 KJV - Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Jeremiah 31:34 KJV - And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Isaiah 43:25 KJV - I, [even] I, [am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
