Being around people whose mood changes from one moment to the next can be quite stressful, and having to worry about saying or doing the wrong thing is not a peaceful way to live. When you break out in a sweat worrying that someone will yell, scream, or act out in anger when you say something - it’s not good for your peace of mind or your health. You shouldn’t have to approach people you love - friends or even acquaintances - with fear and trepidation. People like this are unpredictable and toxic and doing the “eggshell walk” gets old real quick! You can’t have a close, loving relationship with anyone if it is based on fear. Sometimes the only way to resolve a relationship like this is to walk away. How wonderful to know that God is a loving God and you’ll never have to worry about what kind of mood He is in. In fact, the Bible says in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Don’t forget that God loves it when you talk to Him about anything and everything. Nothing you say is stupid, silly, or ridiculous - no matter how trivial it may seem to others! You can tell Him how you really feel and not worry about an angry reaction because God loves you . . . really loves you. He cares, hears, and listens! Praise the Lord that there is no such thing as walking on eggshells when it comes to talking to your Best Friend, Jesus!
