Every day we are forced to make decisions. From the moment we open our eyes in the morning, our decision-making process starts. Should I get out of bed or hit the snooze button for ten more minutes of sleep? Do I wear the red shirt or the blue? Have breakfast or skip it? Or course there are more serious decisions that we make as well, and with every choice we make, we must keep in mind that for every action, there is a reaction. If we make wrong choices, we will suffer the consequences. Just one decision can alter the course of our lives, and that’s why it’s important to ask God to be part of all the decisions we make! With God in charge, we never have to worry about “Am I doing the right thing?” We can move forward with confidence knowing that God is leading and guiding each step of the way! Talk to Him about the little things and the big things! Whether it is as small as what to eat for dinner or as critical as changing a career path, God wants us to lean on Him fully and completely! When you are in the valley of decision and don’t know where to turn, go to Jesus first! He is a great listener and He is truly interested in all you have to say! In Psalm 16:2 we’re told, “I say to God, ‘Be my Lord!’ Without You, nothing makes sense.’ ”

Proverbs 8:10-11 KJV - Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom [is] better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
