If we truly want a life of joy and fulfillment, we need to have Christ-centered goals and live a life that is pleasing to God. Life is too short to live each day with superficial goals. We can't decide to be a Christian one minute and then dabble in sinful pleasures the next. Many are deceived thinking they have time to play in the devil's playground and then, right before Jesus comes, quickly give their hearts to God so they can be saved. But sadly, they will miss that heavenly flight. Seeking fame, fortune, and worldly pleasures are meaningless. To experience true joy and happiness, we must choose every day to commit our hearts to God. We need to set our standards high and keep our eyes on the heavenly goal. Jesus is coming soon. Choose today to live eternally with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and don't wait a minute longer, for tomorrow may be too late.
Joshua 24:15 KJV - And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
John 15:16 KJV - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Job 34:4 KJV - Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what [is] good.
Psalm 25:12 KJV - What man [is] he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way [that] he shall choose.
