We live in a world where there are many things we have no say about, it is what it is and we can't change it. We have no control over the country we are born in, the parents we are born to, or how we look when we enter this world. We cannot choose our genetic makeup, such as whether we have a big nose or little feet, blue eyes or brown eyes, blond hair or no hair. We have no control over the economy, the weather, or people and how they feel about us. All that being said, one of God's greatest gifts to us is the gift of choice. What an incredible privilege we have been given to be able to decide for ourselves whom we serve. This decision is not forced on us, we can choose where we want to spend eternity. God leaves that big choice to us. Wow! that's huge and it's the most important choice you will ever make. The Bible tells us in Joshua 24:15, “you must choose for yourselves today whom you will serve”. Have you made your decision yet? Please wait no longer, there is no time to lose. Choose Jesus Christ, our creator God, Lord, and savior. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Joshua 24:15 KJV - And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Matthew 6:24 KJV - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Psalm 119:30 KJV - I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid [before me].
