This world would be such a better place if we could just take away all the “hate,” and love each other more! Once the seed of hatred is planted, it spreads faster than a wild fire and soon burns out all happiness because everyone is consumed with “hate.” Bottom line; hatred destroys all “joy!” The two simply cannot coexist! It takes much more energy to “hate” and you can accomplish so much more with kindness and love. But the best reason not to hate is because “it is a sin.” The Bible says in 1 John 3:15, that "anyone who hates his brother is a murder," which breaks the sixth commandment! Breaking the commandments is a “sin!” All throughout the Bible we’re told to "love each other." We need to accept and yes, embrace each other’s differences. Imagine how different our world would be if we stopped hating others because of their race, ethnic background, or religion! We can stomp out hatred by surrendering our hearts to God, for when we do, there’s no room in our hearts for anything but God’s love! When we learn to hate the sins in our own lives more than we hate the sins of others - this world will be a better place, and we'll enjoy an even closer walk with God!

1 John 4:20 KJV - If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Leviticus 19:17 KJV - Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

1 John 3:15 KJV - Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

1 John 2:9 KJV - He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
