There are many things in life that come and go, but one thing in this world that we can definitely count on for sure is change. Nothing stays the same. Some people deal with change better than others and are able to see it as a positive rather than a negative. But many people struggle with change. They stress out about changing jobs or schools, moving across town, getting a new haircut, kids growing up, friends moving away, getting a new pastor, and the list goes on and on. But worry and stress do not belong in a christian's life. Each day is a new day to experience all the blessings that God has given us. It's a new opportunity to witness for Him and it's a second chance to have a fresh start. Whether we realize it or not, each day we are growing in the Lord. When we allow the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, we are being transformed from the inside out, thus reflecting God's glory that burns from within. Sometimes God gives us a gentle nudge through His Holy Spirit, urging us to take care of a certain issue that needs forgiveness. Slowly but surely, God is perfecting our characters and changing us so that we can be more like Him.
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV - Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Titus 3:5 KJV - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV - Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.
Malachi 3:6 KJV - For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
