God created each of us uniquely different, with our own set of talents and characteristics that make us who we are. Some seem to shine brighter than others and get lots of recognition and attention for their accomplishments. But for every shining star, there are many other stars that don't seem to shine as bright, almost as if hidden by the brighter stars. Some people behind the scenes tend to feel useless, as if no one cares, never realizing their worth or understanding that everyone is important. Although some may not get the acknowledgements given to others, all God's children are valuable and He loves us all equally. Ask God to give you compassion in your heart for those living under the radar and while on your knees, don't forget to ask Him to give you opportunities to affirm them to help ease their burden. If your neighbor doesn't know their worth, tell them how much you appreciate them. And most of all, let them know they are loved. No matter the size of our bank accounts, the prestige of our jobs, or the talents we have. No one is better than anyone else. We can all be stars for Jesus, shining brightly for Him.
