The Bible has a lot to say about how God feels about human relationships. In Proverbs 17:17, we’re told, “A friend loves at all times” and in 1 John 3:11, we’re instructed: “We should love one another.”  God wants His children, not only to “get along with each other,” but to “LOVE” one another! And He is not just talking about people who are nice to us. God says in Matthew 5:43-48, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” Pay special attention to those last words. If we want to be children of God we must be loving! When someone is hateful, mean and rude the best advice comes from Ephesians 5:21, “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” In other words, even though they don’t treat you with respect - treat them like Jesus would - just love them! It’s a lot easier being kind and loving to someone when your heart if full of God’s love! Make Ephesians 5:2 your life’s motto: “Live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

Romans 12:10 KJV - [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Hebrews 13:16 KJV - But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

1 John 4:11 KJV - Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Galatians 6:2 KJV - Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
