Every year, every day, every minute we live, is a gift from God. What we do with that gift is entirely up to us and the choices we make. We can use our time to glorify God or self. We live by the consequences of our choices, both good and bad. God wants us to be kind and helpful to our fellow man, but having said that, He also wants us to be kind to ourselves. Living an abundant life with Jesus is a balance. God doesn't expect you to spend every waking moment working, even if your work is ministering to others. He wants you to enjoy life and experience the fullness of His joy. Ask God to help you carve out some time in your day for you. Take time to smell the roses God created, be kind to yourself. You will be surprised at how much more productive your day will be. God loves you and wants you to enjoy His journey of joy.
