Is your relationship with God close and personal or distant and aloof?, or maybe something in between? Take time to really examine your friendship with God and ask yourself, how often do I pray or study the Bible? Do I only turn to God when I'm in trouble? There is no better time than right now to renew your commitment with God. It is only by having a close and personal relationship with Him that His plan for your life is revealed. There are those who have been Christians all their lives but have no idea who God really is. They don't read their Bible on any regular basis, and many don't pray at all because they have no real faith that God even hears or cares. Without God as Lord of your life, you can't possibly experience the true joy of living and you'll never know the incredible plan He has for your life. There's no time for anyone to be going through the motions of playing church, it's time to get serious about surrender. Make a decision right now to strengthen your walk with God. Spend time each day talking with Him in prayer and reading His Holy Word. Determine today to give your whole heart to God, holding nothing back. Remember, Jesus is the key to heaven and faith unlocks the door.
