Most of us have insecurities that we live with. We look in the mirror and wish God had created us differently. We don't like the shape of our nose or wish we had smaller ears or flawless skin. We fret that we are not smart enough, rich enough, educated enough, lovable enough, and the list just goes on and on. In fact, we worry more about what others think of us than what God thinks. The good news is that we don't have to let our insecurities shape our lives. We can place our faith in God and trust His opinion. After all, He created us in His image. We can go forward with boldness and confidence, ready to take on whatever assignment God wants to give us and we don't have to wonder if we are good enough, because in God's eyes, we are perfect.
Ephesians 2:10 KJV - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
1 Peter 2:9 KJV - But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Psalm 139:13-16 KJV - For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, [and] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written, [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there was] none of them.
Genesis 1:27 KJV - So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
