Every prayer that you pray is answered with God’s heart of love. You can’t see the future, so it’s impossible to know if what you are praying for is even in your best interests. But God knows, and He answers according to what you need. Instead of becoming bitter and angry because God didn’t answer your prayers the way you wanted Him to, be grateful for the answer He gives you. He may relieve suffering by allowing your loved one to rest until Jesus comes again. He may permit your financial crisis to rid your heart of greed or end a relationship to give you humility and reveal to you your selfishness. God is doing everything He possibly can to save you! Sometimes God uses trials to perfect your character just as gold is refined in the fire. So often, you don’t even realize you have character flaws, believing that everyone else is the problem and it couldn’t possibly be you. But don’t be deceived. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 7:20, ”For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin,” and that includes you. Sin will always separate you from God. Isaiah 59:1-2 tells us, “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” But here is the good news: Jesus already paid the price for your sins. God’s instructions for salvation are clear in 1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” God is preparing you for eternity with Him, so thank Him for the trials and for answered prayers - even when it’s not the answer you want. You can trust that God always responds with His amazing heart of love!

Hebrews 4:16 NLT
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
James 1:6 NIV
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
Galatians 2:20 NIV
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Romans 6:18 NLT
Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.
