In this fast paced world we live in, it seems we are in a constant state of impatience. We are part of the “we want it and we want it now” generation. We beep our horns in traffic if the car in front of us doesn't hit the accelerator the moment the light turns green. If the checkout line is too long, we leave the store without our items on the shopping list. And if the doctor takes too long before our name is called, we reschedule. Our impatience carries over in our prayer life as well, blaming God if our current circumstances aren't changing at a fast enough pace. We forget that life moves according to God's timetable, not ours. He knows the end from the beginning and has our best interest at heart. He alone knows just what we need and when we need it. Instead of stirring up all kinds of anxiety, dust, and stressing out about life, learn to trust God and His perfect timing. If we could see into the future, we would learn that following God's plan is the best plan, and we really wouldn't want it any other way.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV - To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Psalm 27:14 KJV - Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Psalm 37:7 KJV - Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Isaiah 60:22 KJV - A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
