God is our creator and knows everything about us. He knows our innermost thoughts, feelings and dreams, as well as our heartaches, worries, and fears. We can pretend that we are the world's greatest christians and everything is perfect in our lives, but we can't fool God. He sees behind the pretense and knows who we really are. And if we think all that hypocrisy will bring us happiness, think again. Before long, all our pretending cannot stop the mountain of guilt and shame. Before we realize it, this secret life controls our every thought and action, trapping us in a prison of despair and hopelessness. Instead of trying to hide from God, we need to run into His outstretched arms, confess our sins, and start rebuilding our relationship with Jesus through prayer and study of His holy Word. When we commit our lives fully and completely to God, He will give us the abundant life we are seeking. His grace, mercy, and perfect love will wash over us and we will experience a joy such as we have never known.

Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV - [It is of] the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. [They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness.
