Some people think that if they are christians, their lives will be perfect without any temptation to sin. But that's simply not true. Everyone struggles with our own individual human weaknesses. We do our best to hide our struggles, trials, and evil desires in the deepest, darkest corners of our hearts where no one else could possibly see. That's because there are things that cannot be trusted to even our closest earthly friend. Why? Because we know that if people knew the truth about us, they wouldn't understand and it would change how they feel and think about us. But the blessed hope is this: God does understand, and He is the only one who truly can. There's nothing we can hide from our Lord and Savior. We may be able to fool our friends and even our family, but we will never fool God. He alone sees our hearts, knows our weaknesses, and yet He still loves us with an everlasting love. He longs to help guide, comfort and heal us. He stands ready to give us the victory and deliver us from falling into the darkness of sin. No matter what you are facing or going through, remember, you can trust your deepest secrets, even your darkest thoughts to Jesus, and He will give you the strength to overcome temptation and be victorious in Him.
