Without a deep and close relationship with Christ, it's almost impossible not to get upset over the pain of injustice and betrayal. Let's face it, life is not fair. But when you give God control, He will replace all the hurt and anger and reward your prayer with victory. He will fill your heart with so much peace and joy that all bitterness and resentment will melt away. There'll be no room in your heart for feelings of hurt, anger, or revenge, only love. Victory in Jesus is yours by simply surrendering your heart to God. When you release control and allow God to fight your battles, it is then and only then that you will experience incredible peace. Make this prayer part of your daily passionate prayer journey, “Lord, please order my steps today. Make me strong, not for the sake of possessing strength, but to make me sufficient for the crisis moments in my life and in the lives of others who will reach out to me. Please keep me close to you and remove all selfishness from my heart. Precious heavenly father, give me victory.”
