Doubt is often considered a negative trait, but sometimes doubt is a good thing. Without it, we wouldn't be able to discern when something doesn't sound quite right, so we can avoid going down a wrong path or believing a lie. It also makes us question when things go wrong, or we are in situations that don't quite make sense. Sometimes doubt can help deepen our faith as we search for answers to questions we can't seem to let go of. Sometimes the Holy Spirit uses doubt to help us question false beliefs, or to encourage us to search our hearts for pure motives. But make no mistake, Satan also uses doubt to get Christians to doubt God. He wants us to question God's love for us and lose faith in our creator. The most important thing to remember is to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. We never have to doubt His love for us. Always listen to the Holy Spirit's prompting so that we will not be led astray. Remember, doubt can be healthy if it motivates us to search for truth.

James 1:6 KJV - But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
